Innovative Nursery

Ocean's Balance is the proud recipient of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration grant and work closely with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution researching and implementing sustainable kelp cultivation and farming techniques- resulting in more resilient seed and higher yielding crops for seaweed farmers.

When operating at full capacity, Ocean's Balance state-of-the-art nursery can produce more than 250,000 pounds of sugar kelp.
